Having studied in the U.S.A., France and Germany and completing his education as a German and European Patent Attorney as well as a Master of Laws, Nanno Lenz has been focusing on the international prosecution and enforcement of patents, trade marks and designs. To further improve the legal framework providing for adequate international protection of intellectual property rights, he is active in various committees of German and international intellectual property organizations. Nanno Lenz is a member of the board of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys (Patentanwaltskammer), the Patent and Utility Model Law Committee of GRUR and the AIPPI Special Committee regarding the Community Patent Regulation. He is also President of CNIPA (Committee of National Institutes of IP Attorneys), member of the Disciplinary Board of Appeal of the European Patent Office and chairman of the committee on monetary evaluation of patents at the Patentanwaltskammer. Nanno Lenz is married and has three children.
