Carsten Herberg focuses on electrical engineering and electronics. His experience in programming software enables him to give practical advice in the field of patenting software. In a research project, he also gained experience in the field of applied optics. Having studied at the Università degli Studi of Florence and the associated Institute of Optics, he learned to speak Italian fluently and to appreciate the culture of Italy. Leading a seminar of the German Chamber of Patent Attorneys (Patentanwaltskammer), he passes on his knowledge in the education of patent attorney trainees. Carsten Herberg is a member of GRUR, VPP and FICPI. He is also head of a family.
